This last picture is of my latest sofa. Changing sofas is not like changing your winter coat each year! It's difficult to give them up when you find a replacement; and finding storage isn't like stuffing last year's timeless wool second-hand find in the back of a closet. The first and the last are my brand new finds and splurges from Crate and Barrel. The middle two are more resale deals of the century. No more than $100 for each. Two are stored in my aunt's basement (one not even pictured here). I love to find a great "new" sofa like I love a new lamp, a new chair, or a new ring. For my mansion some day.
